Highways Training by Roadtorque.
Blueknight Learning in a joint venture with other equally skilled training providers, collectively known as ‘Roadtorque’ has gathered together a group of experienced individuals, each of which has in excess of 20years experience in road safety.
The aim is to provide the road maintenance infrastructure community, also known as the Highways Agency Service Providers with advice, guidance and training in disciplines commensurate with the safety of road workers working on the UK and European road networks.
The group has been working closely with Balfour Beatty to develop the Incident Support Unit (ISU) Training programme. The Highways Agency has now accepted this as the minimum standard for all ISU operatives throughout the UK. This ISU training is what will be required by all future contractors who provide Incident Support Units to the UK Network. and will be an NVQ Level 2 award.
